In 2005, the City of Burlington went out on a Request for Proposal for Design Services to review and re-design existing office space at City Hall.

RS Field Design Inc. had developed a consortium to respond to the R.F.P which included assessment of office conditions, provide detailed drawings to achieve efficiencies in work areas, recommendations on workstations,  office furnishing and reception areas, review and assessment of the H.V.A.C. system and assist in the coordination of relocating staff and department.

The project took approximately 1-½ years to complete which included approximately 50,000 square feet of office and common area.

RS Field Design Inc. attention to details such as harvesting of natural light, open office concepts and applications, attention to colour and finishes and working with staff has brought to completion a vibrant work environment.

The end result was a revitalized, fresh and up to date look at City Hall that provided efficient work areas for staff and a new corporate image for constituents and patrons visiting City Hall.
